Your Answer Is In The Spirit Realm

If you've never been introduced to the Spirit, then the only Gospel you will know is the intellectual Gospel. I remember back when I was in college I was involved with a certain group that would go around witnessing to people on campus. This group would argue the Scripture based on things like archeological evidence and testimonies and there is some merit to these types of arguments. The resurrection of Jesus is an historical fact. This group was not a Spirit filled group and if you don't know anything about the Spirit and flowing with the Spirit then the intellectual basis is the only basis you have for grasping truth and they were pretty effective at preaching the Gospel this way.

After I got filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke in other tongues, a whole new dimension was opened up to me. There was a certain amount of Christianity that I understood from reading the Bible; it was an intellectual basis of understanding. But then after I got filled with the Holy Spirit, there is a spiritual dimension that is added to the intellectual dimension and it is more powerful than the intellectual dimension if you allow it to be.

John's Gospel says this, "Jesus answered and said to her, "Everyone who drinks of this water will thirst again; but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him shall never thirst; but the water that I will give him will become in him a well of water springing up to eternal life." John is speaking about the Holy Spirit here. He says something very similar in the 7th chapter which gives us a little more detail. Let's look.

"Now on the last day, the great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, 'If anyone is thirsty, let him come to Me and drink. He who believes in Me, as the Scripture said, 'From his innermost being will flow rivers of living water.' But this He spoke of the Spirit, whom those who believed in Him were to receive."

The Holy Spirit is an intangible substance in the natural but it is just as real as the breath you breathe out but can't see. There are people that live out their natural, physical life and never understand the importance of the spiritual life.

Romans tells us this — "But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you." So not only does this verse tell us that He will give life to our bodies (meaning healing), it also tells us that it is through His Spirit in us. So even physical healing starts in the spiritual realm; it doesn't start in the physical. Other things are the same way.

Whatever you need in the natural must be secured in the spirit realm before it will ever be manifest in the natural realm.
